About St. Dreux Coffee Roasters
St. Dreux – 12th century French hermit and Shepherd. Now regarded as the patron saint of coffee and coffee houses – this patronage is anachronistic. The original multi-tasker—he could reportedly “bilocate” to maintain his actual presence in two totally different places at the same time. Witnesses claimed seeing Dreux working in fields simultaneously and going to Mass every Sunday. This undoubtedly took a lot of energy, which is probably one of the reasons why he is the patron saint of coffee and coffeehouses.
