Cafe Deluca - Marrickville, Sydney

Cafe Deluca in Marrickville is a coffee roastery’s flagship location, housed in a light and bright warehouse setting. Open only until 11 am on weekdays and 1 pm on weekends, Deluca takes its morning brew seriously, offering a curated selection of high-quality coffee. Unlike its original outpost in Banksmeadow, which offers a more extensive menu, Cafe Deluca focuses solely on coffee.
Customers can choose from a variety of coffee options, including full cream, oat, or black. The milk-based coffees feature Deluca’s core blend, Sweet Spot, sourced from Colombia and Indonesia. For black coffee, the selection varies depending on the availability of beans, offering diverse flavor profiles from regions like Colombia, Guatemala, or Ethiopia.

Designed by Cameron Krone of Sydney studio Smith and Carmody, Cafe Deluca’s minimalist space features clean lines, natural timber, and a neutral color palette. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow ample natural light, creating an inviting atmosphere. The espresso bar takes center stage, showcasing a German cast-iron Probat G90 roaster, where all beans are roasted on-site. Customers can also purchase beans to take home, with baristas available to provide recommendations based on individual preferences.
