Pilu Baretto in Freshwater offers a relaxed Italian bar experience with stunning views of Freshwater Beach. The venue serves Italian bar food, complemented by a selection of all-Italian wines by the glass, classic cocktails, and Sardinian and local beers. The contemporary menu changes daily, featuring small dishes with amplified flavors, including cured meats and cheeses, antipasti, calamari fritti, and substantial meat and pasta dishes. During the day, the breakfast and lunch menus offer lighter fare such as egg and pancetta rolls, freshly baked cakes and muffins, paninis, salads, and espresso.
Baretto Nights at Pilu Baretto, open during daylight savings, provide an opportunity to enjoy warm weather and late sunsets on Friday and Saturday nights. Reservations are available exclusively for Baretto Nights, while breakfast and lunch operate on a walk-in basis. Pilu Baretto’s open-air setting encourages guests to dress according to the weather, with reservations being weather-dependent for Baretto Nights. The venue, previously known as Pilu Kiosk, was revamped and reopened as Pilu Baretto in March 2017, offering Italian wines, cocktails, and fresh Sardinian dishes against the backdrop of Freshwater Beach.
