Chris Lu and Adam Choker, the minds behind the Happy as Larry food truck, brought their love for shopping centers to Flower Child, replicating the indoor garden concept from their first location in Westfield Chatswood.
Designed by Acme&Co., Flower Child Brookvale features a distinct seaside feel with a curved, whitewashed wall, creating a contrast to the fluorescent atmosphere of the shopping center. The menu offers photogenic dishes like the Flower Child French Toast and fruit salad, along with options for takeaway such as burgers, sandwiches, and acai bowls. Pastries, bread, and coffee are sourced from The Grounds of Alexandria, contributing to the cafe’s holistic approach to dining.

Flower Child Warringah, the second venue, expands on the original concept with an outdoor location at Westfield Warringah. Designed to embrace the beachy and tropical vibes of the northern beaches, the cafe features an open plan kitchen, custom tiles, and a colorful, floral-textured interior. The all-day menu offers favorite dishes from the original location along with new exclusives like pumpkin gypsy toast and Japanese pancakes. With an emphasis on single origin and seasonal blend coffees, Flower Child continues to deliver fresh and flavorful dining experiences in both indoor and outdoor settings.
