Bathers’ Pavilion

Bathers’ Pavilion in Balmoral offers an elegant coastal dining experience with panoramic views of Balmoral Beach. Executive chef Aaron Ward, recently awarded two hats in the SMH Good Food Guide, prioritizes the guest experience and emphasizes quality produce sourced from local producers, farmers, and fishermen. The restaurant’s classic cruising style with a nautical nod features French blue and white striped linens, custom furniture, and curated artworks, creating a sophisticated yet relaxed ambiance. The dining area seamlessly flows into the Lounge, offering eclectic seating arrangements on Moroccan rugs for a more casual experience.
The focus of Bathers’ Pavilion’s menus is on celebrating seasonal produce while complementing the coastal setting, accompanied by a curated wine list of over 350 selections and impeccable service. The venue caters to various occasions, including special celebrations, family meals, or casual beachside dining. The Good Room, an extension of the space, is available for private events for up to 20 guests without a room hire fee, adding an extra touch of exclusivity.

Housed in a heritage-listed Mediterranean-style building, Bathers’ Pavilion features an opulent onyx bar, cosy booths, and a lounge area, creating an inviting atmosphere. The restaurant offers both fine dining and a casual yet refined bistro experience, showcasing French-leaning cuisine with a coastal ethos. The bistro menu includes classic dishes like pepper steak, fish and chips, pizza, and linguine with clams, while the restaurant offers seafood-heavy set menus. Additionally, guests can enjoy cocktails, an extensive selection of wines, and a chic champagne bar on the Louis Roederer Terrace, making it an ideal spot to savor spritzes, bubbly, and oysters while soaking in breathtaking ocean views.
